On Monday I went along to Old Manor Hotel in Bradford-on-Avon to work with an awesome team on a West Weddings Magazine photo shoot. Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year we had to pretend it was Autumn.
The mood board was full of raspberry tones rather that the typical orange and browns, it worked beautifully and I kept that theme in mind when I did the make up, I used pinky brown tones on the eyes, flawless skin and then mixed the perfect rasberry colour for the lips using mac’s retro matte lipsticks.
For the hair I created two styles, one up with twisted sides and loose curls into a detailed bun at the back and for the second look I curled the hair through and then brushed it out to create a glamour wave.
The venue was amazing and so welcoming, I highly recommend going there for dinner or just a wander round.
I thought I would share a few behind the scenes pics with you!
This shows the hair and make up I created for the four bridal dresses we used
Working with two very gorgeous models definitely made this shoot!
The team I worked with were great, I have teamed up with most of them before so we all work really well together and to celebrate an awesome shoot we sat down for a cuppa and some cake at the end of the day that was supplied by Pretty Amazing Cakes!
