Back in September the very lovely Emma got married at Goldbrick House in Bristol.
We got her ready at the Royal Marriot, which is a few minutes from the venue. The weather was perfectly autumnal and crisp.
I had met with Emma few times in the run up to the wedding, for her trial and to get her nails wedding ready! I was going to be doing Emma and her sisters hair and make up on the day. I had met with both of them for a trial so on the morning of the wedding we knew exactly what we were doing.
Emma’s main request was that she still looked like her, so I made sure the make up and hair reflected that. Emma’s hair is naturally very curly, but to keep the frizz down I curled it through anyway so set the curls in place. I twisted it back from both sides to give some detail and ensure it would stay securely in place all day. Emma’s friend had made some beautiful accessories to go in the hair to add the finishing touches.
For her make up we wanted to keep it fairly natural, and also something that would suit with Emma wearing her glasses. I kept the skin soft and natural looking, using MAC Face and Body foundation and a pink blush. We emphasised the eyes using brown tones to define them and make them pop.
Emma’s wedding also involved some of my favourite people! Martin Dabek of Photodabek was the photographer and one of my closest friends was the registrar that married Emma and Matthew!
I hope your day was amazing and you enjoyed your honeymoon Emma, thank you for having me as part of your special day!
