On the 27th September I went along to Kirsty’s mum’s house to get her, her three bridesmaids and her mum ready for her big day!
Kirsty was recommended to me through Kirsten from the Little Wedding Helper who was doing the styling for the venue.
I met Kirsty for her trial which was pretty easy, she wanted defined eyes and flawless skin for her make up and her hair curled and over to one side. We got it perfect first time.
On the day I worked with the bridesmaids first doing a round of hair and then a round of make ups, two of them had a braid over to one side with a messy bun and one had a bob so we just styled that and placed a head band in. Make up wise they all had fairly natural looks, I focused on giving them slightly more defined eyes with natural skin, for the lips I used a gloss for a bit of shine.
For Kirsty I curled her hair through and braided it over to one side, the remaining hair was left loose. Kirsty had an amazing headpiece that sat forward on the head and a veil that we placed lower down at the back.
For her make up I defined the eyes with a neutral base and then used pinky brown tones to define the socket line, I added a slightly darker brown on the outer third of the eye to give it a subtle smoky look. Using medium and short flare lashes and a good coating of mascara kept the eyes quite simple. The skin was kept dewy using an Arbonne cc cream and mineral powder. A mixture of boldly bare and Love lorn from mac completed the lips.
When I was looking on instagram Kirsten had put a photo of Kirsty’s cake topper which is adorable !
I know Kirsty was off on a amazing sounding honeymoon so I hope that has been great!
