I got to be Polly’s Make Up Artist for her special day due to a friend of mine injuring her hand, the booking was very last-minute, there was about three weeks between the initial phone call and the wedding, so getting a trial in was very tight, but we managed and I was very happy to be part of Polly’s day.
Polly’s Mum was a superstar, and had pretty much organised everything….wedding planner extraordinaire!
Polly wanted something pretty but not too heavy, so we kept the skin with a medium coverage so it looked nice and fresh. For the eyes I used a cream base and built up light and medium browns in the socket and outer third of the eye, I used a brown gel liner and we applied a few flare lashes for extra definition. To finish off the look I used Polly’s own lip gloss which was a dusky pink tone.
I also did the make up for the Bridesmaids, we kept it fairly natural but defined the eyes so they stood out in the photos!
Even Polly’s little Niece got involved in the pampering….posing perfectly with her sparkly nails!
The setting for Polly’s wedding was gorgeous with the reception in the family homes garden, so much effort had gone in to everything. I hope your day was amazing. Congratulations Polly!
