Real Weddings – Natalie and her nerves of steel!

I went along to Hyde Barn on a monday to do the hair and make up for Natalie’s wedding. After what seemed like a mamoth drive along windy roads I got to a beautiful old stone building with cows in the field next to it, It was super cute and perfect for a wedding at the start of autumn!

When I met Natalie for her trial she was super chilled and probably the least fussy bride to be ever! She wanted her make up kept simple as she doesn’t wear much normally and had a couple of pictures to show the kind of thing she wanted for her hair.

When I got to Natalie on the day of the wedding she was so nervous and said her stomache was in knots! I have to say I do tend to have that effect on people as it all becomes real when me and the photographers turn up!

We set to work doing Natalie’s mums make up and then on to the bride to be. Natalies make up was natural and soft, emphesising the eyes using soft brown tones and adding to the lashes with a few false flair lashes to the outer corners. I used a CC Cream from arbonne to give a fresh dewy look to the skin and finished it off with arbonne mineral powder. For the lips we went with a slightly shimmery gloss which just set it all off nicely.

For Natalies hair I curled it all through with the straighteners and then braided the sides back, with the remaining hair I created a messy bun. At the trial Natalie was still unsure if she was going to have a veil but on the day she had chosen a beautiful haed piece that sat perfectly at the side of the bun with branches of diamante details that just krept around the head slightly!

Natalie was recommended to me from a bride I worked with two years ago which was so nice as it showed I must have done  good job then too!

I really hope Natalie had the most amazing day and enjoys her honeymoon (which I was totally jealous of when she told me all about it!).

Congratulations Natalie and Dave!

Stay Gorgeous

Grace xoxo
